Almaden Leadership Circle brings together industry and thought leaders from all types of industries. Students can get mentorship and exposure to real life corporate culture. Almaden Leadership Circle also facilitates internship opportunities at local startups - benefiting both the students looking for real life experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment, as well as startup founders looking for energetic talent eager to learn and contribute.

Being a founder is hard at the best of times. But market uncertainties and fierce global competition makes it difficult to attract talent, funding and customers. Our Objectives
Almaden Leadership Circle is a registered non-profit devoted to bringing together students, entrepreneurs and investors. Almaden Leadership Circle was founded in San Jose by a group of seasoned professionals with many decades of experience in corporate settings, startups as well as entrepreneurship. ALC hopes to build a platform where entrepreneurs feel free to seek advice and mentorship from others who have overcome similar hurdles, where students can learn real life skills and contribute their fresh ideas and energies to local startups, as well as investors who are curious about local startup activity and want to encourage and invest in them.

ALC has two active programs, with more coming in the near future!Monthly Startup Forum
This once-a-month online forum features at least one early stage founder. Members can sign up to attend this forum to listen to the founder describe their product or service, and pitch for seed or angel investment. These forums feature founders from all types of startups - consumer and enterprise. They span technology trends from social, environmental, AI/ML and everything in-between. Members can interact with the founder, ask questions and get direct answers. If they find the offering interesting, they can then decide to invest in the startup based on mutually agreed terms. In addition to a founder, the Monthly Startup Forum also features recruiters, marketing professionals and other individuals who can provide valuable insight to attending members.
